They were acused of irresponsible spending, for the NBA endured a 4-month lockout. In the 2003-04 NBA season, they were one of the most powerful teams in the NBA. But the team was defeated in the finals of the Western Conference by the Los Angeles Lakers. Keving Garnet won his first MVP award in this season. In 2009, they picked Ricky Rubio over from Spain. Kurt Rambis was fired as a coach in 2011. Kevin Love grabbed a record of 31 points and 31 rebounds in 30 games in 2010. In the 2010-2011 NBA season, Love played in the All Star game. Kosta Koufos and Corey Brewer were traded to the New York Nicks on February, 2011. This year, they had a 121-102 record, the worst record of the season.
